Laurie 11 years agoĮxtremely helpful staff! Kevin 11 years agoīeautiful store. Great friendly knowledgeable customer service. Very helpful staff, lots of neat aquarium setups to look at. I recommend this place to everyone interested in the fish hobby. I went there for the first time before I even bought an aquarium, and thanks to their help, I now am the happy owner of a healthy and beautiful system. The staff is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. By far the best fish store in Houston, and I have been to all of them. Staff was friendly, which hasn't always been the case in the past. I have to go back to buy the fish! Ugh! Denise 11 years ago I HAVE to because I left with the tank and supplies but with no fish as I am not in my house yet. The question above asks if I will go back, and here's the kicker. I really wanted this to be something fun, but alas it has been tainted by bad service. It really makes me think twice about purchasing a groupon that ties you to money spent on a service/experience/product that I would not have purchased otherwise. I was like I can see you in there eating your pizza when your suppose to be helping me! It was pretty much an awful experience, and if it hadn't been for the stupid groupon and a promise to my 2 year for a new fish when we move into the new house, I would have just left. The guy who helped me also disappeared for about 10 minutes to go ask his manager if they could do this, while he was eating pizza in the break room. The guy who came to help us was very knowledgeable, but when I asked if I could pay for everything now and pick it up later because I am in the process of moving, they refused me saying they only provide that service to their clients who buy $5000 fish tanks. Finally I asked someone, and he said he was working on a project, then I asked the cashier, and he went to find someone to help me. However, my experience soon turned sour as NO one came up to help us after looking around for about 10 minutes. My children were delighted to look at all the fish. The groupon specifically advertised a $25 credit that could be used for children-friendly tanks, so when I go to use it I bring my 2 year old and 4 month old. It's out of way from my normal shopping area, so this was a definite incentive to make the trek out there.
